Dream Prayer ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Dream Prayer mobile application (the "Service"), available at biblicaldreaminterpretations.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our Service:

• Personal Data:
  • Email Address: Collected via Firebase Authentication when you sign up or log in with an email/password, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login.
  • Name and Profile Information: Collected via Facebook Login (public profile, name) or Google Sign-In (name, profile picture) if you use these methods. You may also provide a display name for your profile.
  • Audio Recordings: When you record dreams for analysis, audio is stored in Firebase Secure Storage and processed by Google Speech-to-Text to generate text for interpretation.
  • Community Posts: Dream journal entries and prayer requests you share in the community are stored in Firebase Firestore.
• Usage Data:
  • App interactions (e.g., pages viewed, features used) and device information (e.g., OS, device ID) are collected to improve functionality and personalize your experience.
• Search Data:
  • Search queries for dream interpretations are processed by Algolia to provide relevant results. Queries may include text from your journal or audio transcriptions.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service, including user authentication, dream analysis, and community features.
• Process audio recordings for AI-driven biblical dream interpretations using Google Speech-to-Text.
• Enable search functionality via Algolia for dream journal and community content.
• Personalize your experience, such as displaying your profile or saving your theme preferences (e.g., Midnight Purple).
• Deliver advertisements (for free-tier users) and process in-app purchases (for premium subscriptions).
• Communicate with you, including responding to inquiries sent to dreamprayer.dev@gmail.com.
• Analyze usage to improve the Service and ensure security.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share your information only as follows:

• Service Providers:
  • Google: Audio recordings are processed by Google Speech-to-Text for transcription. Firebase (a Google service) stores user data securely.
  • Algolia: Search queries and related content are sent to Algolia for indexing and retrieval.
• Authentication Providers:
  • Facebook: If you use Facebook Login, we receive your public profile, name, and email per Facebook's Platform Terms.
  • Google: Google Sign-In provides your name, email, and profile picture.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Community Features: Posts you share in the community (e.g., prayer requests) are visible to other users.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Security

Your data is stored securely in Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption and access controls. Audio recordings in Firebase Storage are protected, and access is limited to authorized processes (e.g., Google Speech-to-Text). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Deletion Requests

Dream Prayer provides users with the ability to request deletion of some or all of their data, with or without deleting their account, in compliance with Google Play's User Data Policy and applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). To request data deletion, follow these steps:

1. Email us at dreamprayer.dev@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.”
2. Include your account email address (used for Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, or Facebook Login) and specify which data types you want deleted (e.g., audio recordings, community posts, profile information).
3. We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
4. Upon approval, we will delete the requested data within 30 days and notify you via email.

Data Types Subject to Deletion:

• Account Data: Email, name, profile information (Firebase Authentication).
• Audio Recordings: Dream recordings stored in Firebase Storage.
• Community Posts: Dream journal entries and prayer requests in Firebase Firestore.
• Search Queries: Queries processed by Algolia (deleted from our records; Algolia may retain anonymized data per their policy).

Data Retention:

• We delete requested data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, compliance with tax laws).
• Anonymized usage data (e.g., app interactions, device info) may be retained for up to 12 months for analytics to improve the Service.
• If you request account deletion, we will delete your Firebase Authentication profile and associated data (except anonymized analytics) within 30 days.
• Third-party providers (Google, Algolia, Facebook) may retain data per their policies; we will request deletion on your behalf where applicable.

For in-app account deletion, access the “Profile Settings” menu in Dream Prayer and select “Delete Account” to initiate the process. This will delete your account and all associated data, including community posts. If you've uninstalled the app, use the email process above.

Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR for EU residents, CCPA for California residents), you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations.
• Restriction: Limit how we process your data.
• Portability: Receive your data in a structured format.
• Objection: Object to certain processing (e.g., ads).
